staying Under your covering
In God’s design for marriage, there is a beautiful, protective order that brings peace, strength, and blessing into the home. When a husband walks in Christ—submitting himself to the Lord, seeking His wisdom, and loving his family with Christlike devotion—he becomes a covering over his household. This covering is not control or dominance; it is protection, guidance, and spiritual safeguarding rooted in love.

Remaining under this covering means choosing unity over independence, agreement over isolation, and partnership over pressure. It is recognising that God works through your husband when he is submitted to Christ, and that you flourish when you honour the structure God has created.
Just as Christ covers His church, a husband—imperfect but surrendered—creates an environment where his wife can grow, rest, and thrive. When we remain under that covering, we position ourselves beneath God’s order, God’s peace, and God’s blessing.
It is a place of safety.
A place of honour.
A place of spiritual alignment.
And as you walk together, each submitted to Christ in your own way, your home becomes a living testimony of God’s love, unity, and purpose.
